Brooklyn Nets v Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors’ mascot, The Raptor, suffered an injury to his Achilles last week and is done for the year according to sources.

The Raptor was entertaining kids at a elementary school when the tear happened.

The team says he will have surgery soon and a backup plan is being worked on.

“My daughter cried,” coach Dwane Casey said of the news.
