According to a report via Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the Golden State Warriors have locked up their talented but fragile center Andrew Bogut, for the next few seasons.

Bogut has signed three-year deal with a base salary of $36 million, sources tell Yahoo Sports. Incentives can push total deal to $42M-plus.

Wojnarowski’s report states that the Warriors have taken special precautions to protect themselves in case Bogut health issues persist during the course of the contract.
If Bogut stays healthy, he'll get paid like an elite center. If injury problems return, it's a 3-year, $12M annual base for Golden State.

Bogut was a huge part of the Warriors’ spirited run in the playoffs last season. There’s no doubt that when healthy he’s one of the best centers in the NBA so this is a deal the Warriors had to make.
