Andy Enfiled USC

Andy Enfield and his exciting team at Florida Gulf Coast were Amercia’s darling Cinderella in last year’s NCAA tournament. His team’s high flying, up tempo style of play made him the envy of larger basketball programs and during the off-season Enfield bolted for USC and the City of Angels vowing to take his fast play with him.

In a recent interview Enfield is already taking shots at USC rival UCLA.

“We play up-tempo basketball here,” he told his players. “If you want to play slow, go to UCLA.”

Yeah, that was a dig.

It will be interesting to see Enfield’s transition. Talking so boldly so soon, he better hope it’s as fast as his team’s tempo.
