The deal is believed to be in the neighborhood of $24 million over four years
Robison was drafted in the fourth round by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2007 NFL Draft. He has played 94 career games with 38 starts.
The move would likely bring an end to the Jared Allen era in Minnesota.
