The 49ers/Redskins matchup proved to be a one-sided dominant performance from the 49ers. RGIII continued to struggle and finished with 127 passing yards on 27 attempts. We continue to ask why has RGIII fallen so off from his rookie season performance. According to NBC Sports 49ers LB Ahmad Brooks knows the answer.
“I don’t think he should be playing. You can see it. Everybody can see it, everybody can see it.”
“He’s a man, he has the heart of a warrior and is going to go out there and play regardless of the circumstance. Everybody can see it. Everybody can see it. He shouldn’t be playing.”
The elephant in the room for the Redskins all season long was how RGIII would rebound from his ACL surgery, and it seems the answer is not well at all. The last thing the organization needs now is for opposing teams to have a sense that the starting QB is a long way from being 100% and ready to play.
