Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake Tried to Confront Rob Ford at Toronto City Hall (Video)

Former WWE wrestler Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake stormed into Toronto City Hall with his signature pair of shears and a submarine sandwich. According to The Globe and Mail the former wrestler who reached stardom in the 1980’s, was there to offer Toronto’s mayor Rob Ford, an intervention after a video of Mr. Ford on a tirade was released earlier today.

“He needs an intervention so I am going to be his angel of mercy,” said Beefcake.

According to Beefcake, many of his wrestling friends have lost their lives because of drug abuse and he believes he can help so that Ford will not follow down the same path.

“Maybe if he gets his body right, he will be able to get his mind right,” said Mr. Beefcake.

Unfortunately Mr. Beefcake never got the chance to deliver his message to Ford as he was escorted out of City Hall by security shortly after his grand entrance. Of course he took this opportunity to promote his sandwiches and healthy living.

Check out the video below. I can’t make this stuff up.

  1. Really found this funny. I remember seeing “Mr. Beefcake” at a wrestling show where he was as high as a kite. But I guess when it’s time to hawk a product, clean living is the story of the day. Once a phony always a phony.
