Harlem Globetrotter’s rookie Thunder Law nailed a shot from nearly 110 feet away yesterday in Phoenix, setting a new Guinness world record for the longest made shot in history. CBS Sports is reporting that Law’s 109 foot, 9 inch shot beat the previous record by nearly 5 feet. Check out the video below.
Law had this to say about breaking a Guinness World Record.
“Wow! It’s definitely an honor as a rookie to represent my team, the Harlem Globetrotters, and break the record for the world’s longest basketball shot,” Law said. “The Globetrotters make phenomenal trick shots at our shows every night, so if you want to see more spectacular feats, you have to come out and see us live.”
