It has basically been a forgone conclusion that Johnny Manziel would bolt for the NFL after this season especially given all the offseason stuff he had to deal with. Today on ESPN Radio’s “SVP & Russillo”, Kevin Sumlin gave some insight into when Johnny will make a decision:

“We haven’t had that conversation,” Sumlin said. “My job is to get him all the facts that we can get him. We’ll have that discussion after the Missouri game, certainly during the bowl preparation. I’m sure the announcement will be made at that time.

Most of the country believes Johnny’s days in College Station are numbered considering there isn’t much left for him to do at the college level. He has been the best player in college football for two years in a row, with a Heisman trophy to show for it last year. With a big game against LSU tomorrow, he could also be on his way to a second Heisman.

I expect him to leave school but I would love to see him come back and make a run at a National Title with a better defense since there isn’t anything more entertaining in college football than the Johnny Football show.
