Lance Stephenson Says He’s ‘Staying With Pacers’ In Free Agency

We’ll see how Lance really feels once the chance to make a decision some huge money is offered to him.

Through three games this season, Lance Stephenson is averaging 19 points per outing, while shooting nearly 60 percent from the field and 64 percent from the three-point line.

Stephenson is soon to be an unrestricted free agent, and is likely to get paid on the open market.  Stephenson told the teams official website that he plans to remain a Pacer in free agency.

“I don’t think about that,” Stephenson said after matching his regular season career high with 22 points while hitting a career-high five three-pointers in seven attempts. “It’s a long season, I’m not thinking nothing about contracts. I’m going to stay with the Pacers, so I’m not even thinking about the contract.”

Are you sure Lance?

“I’m staying with the Pacers,” he said.
