I totally believe Mark Sanchez can’t wait to get out of New York City as a player.
Sanchez is saying all the right things after returning to the team to begin rehab for his shoulder injury. While talking to reporters Tuesday morning, Sanchez said all the right things that will allow future employers to believe hes a good teammate.
“I don’t want to go anywhere else,” Sanchez said, via Darryl Slater of the Newark Star-Ledger. “I plan on being here. That’s all I’m thinking about, is coming back next year, leading this team and playing well. We’ll see what happens.”
Sanchez knows full well that his contract is not going to allow him to remain with the Jets as backup. Sanchez is simply not trying to ruffle feathers or seem like a malcontent.
