The Mississippi State Bulldogs got the victory in their annual Egg Bowl game against Ole Miss, but at what cost.

According to Bleacher Report, Bully the mascot suffered a broken leg after a hit and run during the fourth quarter of Mississippi State’s 17-10 Egg Bowl win over Ole Miss.

The student in the costume, Michaela Mills, suffered a compound fracture and had surgery Thursday night, according to SB Nation.
