Here’s a note to athletes everywhere. When you’re being beaten and humiliated by the opposing team, don’t try to make yourself look worse by doing things like shoving the referee. According to Larry Brown Sports that’s pretty much what went down yesterday during the Thanksgiving Lions/Packers matchup.

The Packers allowed Joique Bell to score on a 1-yard TD run to make the score 33-10. Out of frustration Packers DB Tramon Williams shoved the referee and was given a 15-yard unsportsmanlike penalty.

Williams wasn’t ejected, but he still made himself look really bad. Shoving the referee wasn’t going to help the score or the Packers defense.
