Report: Aaron Rodgers Returns To Practice, Unlikely To Play On Thanksgiving

The 2011 ESPY Awards - Arrivals

Mike McCarthy said yesterday that the chances of Aaron Rodgers playing on Thanksgiving are “slim to none”, but those odds may have just increased.

Rodgers has been cleared by doctors to begin doing some on-field activities.  He took part in all individual drills during the portion of practice open to the media.

Rodgers reportedly worked with practice squad offensive lineman Garth Gerhart, while Matt Flynn took snaps from starting center Evan Dietrich-Smith, while Scott Tolzien worked with guard T.J. Lang.

Rodgers injured his collarbone just three weeks ago. There’s no doubt he wants to play, but Green Bay has to think about the long-term here.
