Vince Carter Says He Was Joking About Dwight Howard Being A Crybaby

by Mark Gunnels | Posted on Friday, November 22nd, 2013

Houston Rockets v Dallas Mavericks

Vince Carter spoke for a lot of people when he called Dwight Howard a “crybaby” the other night. As you would expect, those words went viral.

Just a couple of days later, Vince Carter is backtracking:

“Everybody is blowing it out of proportion,” Carter said. “First of all, we were just playing around joking. It was a joke because he said it to me first. And we were complaining about his 3 seconds (in the lane). He was saying, stop crying. And I said, you’re the biggest crybaby.”

Vince Carter and Dwight Howard were teammates in Orlando during the 2009-2010 season, so I do believe they were joking, but there still could be some truth to what Carter said.
