AJ McCarron believes that Nick Saban won’t be going anywhere. In fact, he says that Saban actually told him that he is staying at Bama according to ESPN:

“I messed with Coach, [saying] he’s getting too old to start up again somewhere else,” McCarron said on ESPN’s “College Football Daily” from Walt Disney World. “He told me he’s not leaving. And I know Miss Terry [Saban’s wife] well enough; she runs that house. And she’s not allowing Coach to leave, either. I think he’ll be at the University of Alabama for a little while.”

I understand McCarron wanting to believe his coach and I’m sure he believes that he wouldn’t lie to him. However, if the reports are close to accurate that Saban will be offered $100 million by Texas, Nick will take a long hard look at leaving Bama.

It would be a crazy sight to see AJ’s last college game without Saban as his coach though.
