Anthony Mason LL Cool J

We all remember Anthony Mason as the Knicks’ enforcer on those memorable teams from the 90’s, but apparently he wasn’t just enforcing on the court.

Rapper LL Cool J, who is friends with the retired NBA player, told slam magazine how Mason used to put people out of his barbecues.

Anthony Mason was my man—he used to be in Queens all the time in my neighborhood. He used to throw guys out of barbecues for me. They were talking trash to me and Anthony Mason used to come in and grab them and be like, “Y’all gotta go! Y’all gotta go!” He was my man.

This doesn’t surprise me one bit. I just wish I could’ve seen it.
