NFL: Preseason-New Orleans Saints at Houston Texans

Ben Tate has proven over the past few years that he’s a tough, rugged, shifty running back who can put up numbers in place of Arian Foster, or right behind him.

Tate is a free agent, and the Texans aren’t going to pay him and Arian Foster huge money.  Tate, who’s likly first free agent visit will be to Cleveland, sent out a Tweet on Monday that suggested he won’t be returning.

Tate rushed for 771 yards and four touchdowns this season, serving  as a backup to Arian Foster before assuming the starting job when Foster suffered a back injury in Week 7.
