Calvin Johnson Doesn’t Know The Names Of Any Of The Giants DBs
Before you get all in an uproar, Johnson admittedly is bad with names.
According to the New York Daily News, Johnson referred to Prince Amukamara as “Amenyiora,” and he couldn’t even pick out the corner, Trumaine McBride.
“And No. 38,” he said, referencing McBride. “What’s his name? … He’s gonna be on the outside.”
“They’re gonna present some challenges for us,” he added. “But I think we can get some openings there in the secondary and get the ball moving.”
The Giants didn’t take Megatron’s slight personally at all, actually being gracious with Johnson at every turn.

“Definitely one of the best, if not the best, receiver in the league,” Rolle said. “I think he’s earned the right to be called that.”
McBride said he didn’t expect Johnson to know his name.
“I mean, last year I was out of the league,” said the journeyman who replaced Corey Webster.
Amukamara was quick to say Johnson’s nickname, “Megatron,” and couldn’t blame Johnson for not knowing how to pronounce his last name.
