The percentages of Lamar Odom joining the Clippers just rose with the hand fracture of JJ Redick.
Arash Markazi is reporting that if the Clippers do indeed plan to sign Odom, it won’t happen until after the teams upcoming seven game road trip.
But the latest word circulating Sunday, in the wake of J.J. Redick‘s arm injuries, strongly suggests that the widely expected re-signing of Odom is unlikely to take place before the Clippers finish a seven-game road trip in mid-December.
The Clippers will undeniably miss Redick for the next six to eight weeks in the midst of the best all-around ball of the eight-year veteran’s career. In the short term, though, it appears L.A. is prepared to let the likes of sixth-man extraordinaire Jamal Crawford and veteran swingman Willie Green absorb the bulk of Redick’s responsibilities.
The Clippers embark Wednesday on a seven-stop, 13-day trip. Odom, meanwhile, will continue to workout.
