If Jason Kidd has any chance of righting the Nets ship, it will have to start now.
Tim Bontemps is reporting that both Deron Williams and Paul Pierce will be returning to practice on Monday. Pierce’s return is significantly sooner than the 2-4 week prognosis he was given after suffering a break in his hand.
Williams had been out with an injured ankle since November 20 in the team’s loss to the Bobcats.
Williams, of course, is expected to play tomorrow.

Nets GM Billy King won’t fully be able to grade Kidd’s ability as a coach until he has a full and healthy roster to choose from.
