I don’t know what is going inside of Dez’s head, but whatever it is, he has to find a way to control his emotions.
Such a talented player, but you feel like you are watching a ticking time bomb that can go off at any time. The Cowboys need him to be great and passionate, but they also need him to be able to handle the stresses of being a professional football player.
He apologized for leaving the field early during the loss to the Packers. Here is how he described what happened and why.
“I was wrong,” Bryant said during an appearance a local hospital, via Tim McMahon of ESPNDallas.com. “It didn’t have anything to do with my teammates. I just, . . . I couldn’t watch Green Bay kneel the ball down on the field after a tough loss like that.
“I was very emotional. I cried when I got into the locker room. I didn’t want to show that stuff on the sideline.”
I never thought he was upset at his teammates, but his actions made it about him and not the team. He simply has to do better.
