AL.com is reporting Ohio State just landed the commitment of five-star linebacker Raekwon McMillan. The 6-foot-2, 242-pound star chose the Buckeyes over Alabama, Auburn, Clemson and Georgia.

McMillan, a 6-foot-2, 242-pound linebacker from Hinesville, Georgia, announced his commitment in a live ceremony at his school on Monday morning.

McMillan said that early playing time was an important factor in his decision but that he wasn’t concerned about the depth of talent in Tuscaloosa at his position.

“It was important for me to get early playing time but Alabama has had some second string linebackers go in the third round and fourth round.”
