Nothing like a crazy FSU fan on the loose with a machete.
Doesn’t he know that his team is #1 in the country and undefeated? Here is what happened according to the Gainesville Police.
Seminoles fan Brant W. Brown, 37, walked into the EndZone Bar and Grill on 1209 W University Ave. and approached a man and a woman who were arguing.
Brown then apparently invited the man to step outside to fight.
When other Gators fans tried to calm Brown down, he began challenging them all to step out into the parking lot to fight, according to the report.
Brown then went to his truck and retrieved a machete.
When the woman stepped out into the parking lot, Brown threatened her with it.
The bar’s manager also came out to get Brown’s description to give cops as he dialed 911. When Brown spotted the manager, he lunged at him with the machete. The manager ran away and called police.
The man got away, but then went to another bar with the machete in his hand. An off-duty cop who also happens to be a FSU fan was able to calm the man down and get him to put down the machete.
Brown was charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia charges.
You may find this shocking but he was also heavily intoxicated.
