New York Giants WR Hakeem Nicks has had a tough season to say the least. Going into the final week of the regular season he has yet to catch a touchdown for the team. According to Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post, Nicks wants to stay with the Giants next season and is willing to take a “hometown discount” to make it happen.

Nicks had a standout season in 2010 and 2011, where he recorded over 1000 yards receiving, but hasn’t done much since. He’s also been plagued by injury, so I doubt he has much of a choice than to take a pay cut in order for the Giants to entertain the idea of keeping him next season.
