Despite the fact that he said he wanted to stay in Jacksonville, team reps are reportedly going to allow Maurice Jones-Drew to truly see if the grass is greener on the other side.
John Oehser of Jaguars.com is reporting that the club will allow Jones-Drew to test the free agent waters for the first time. Jones-Drew is free to seek millions elsewhere.

Jones-Drew has 8,071 yards and 1,804 career carries and 80 touchdowns. He’s also caught 335 passes for 2,873 yards and 11 touchdowns as well.
At 29 years of age, and struggling to remain durable, it will be interesting to see what Jones-Drew can get on the open market. I’m pretty sure he’ll have his list of suitors.
