To bad for Jeff Fisher, but the NFC West is opening the gap on the rest of the league.
If the Rams beat the Seahawks on Sunday, they won’t make the playoffs, but they will finish at 8-8 and ensure that the NFC West has the best conference in football this season with no team in the division having a losing record.
The NFC West is deep and difficult, but Fisher told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that the Rams are improving, and closing the gap on the rest of the division.
“It does, but again, I feel like we’re closing the gap,” Fisher said, via the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “We’re closing the gap and I hope we’ll be able to catch the other teams. I think one of the things that you probably would discover is how teams struggle after they’ve played teams in our division the next week because they’re such physical ballgames.”
If Fisher and the Rams can properly utilize two top picks in the first round, the gap should close even more.
