For the last five years, the Detroit Lions have been coached by Jim Schwartz, but now NBC Sports reports that the Schwartz/Lions marriage could soon be coming to an end. Everyone is expecting that the Lions will part ways with Schwartz after the season is over, but now Ian Rappaport from NFL Network said earlier that the Lions will reportedly also part ways with the major players in the front office.
A front office cleaning would mean that GM Martin Mayhew and possibly team President Tom Lewand would also be given the boot. The Lions roster on paper is a dream, so you can’t blame the Ford family for being fed up. Needless to say, the off-season shake ups in Detroit will be interesting to watch.
