After yet another disappointing end to a season, the speculation has been running rampant in the media that head coach Jim Schwartz could be fired after the conclusion of the season. Naturally, you would expect Schwartz to have to answer questions about his job status in press conferences right?
Nothing odd here. Except, that when the Lions recently released their press conference transcript, all questions about Schwartz’s status weren’t on it. Even though he was asked about it.
Lions omitted questions/answers about Jim Schwartz's job status from Matthew Stafford presser transcript.

Lions coach Jim Schwartz was asked once about his job status, once about speculation. Neither response included on team-issued transcript.

Schwartz was asked about direction of organization, and that response was included.

This certainly can only add fuel to the fire that Schwartz’s time in Detroit may be coming to an end very soon.
