This has been one crazy story. According the Longhorn Network, Mack Brown will resign as Texas Head Coach. He has informed the team and recruits as well. He will coach the bowl game though.

Now where does the team go for a Head Coach with Nick Saban signing his extension?

Let the games begin.

Here is the statement from Mack Brown:

“We built a strong football family, reached great heights. It’s been a wonderful ride. I sincerely want it to get back to the top and that’s why I am stepping down after the bowl game. I hope with some new energy, we can get this thing rolling again. The program is again being pulled in different directions, and I think the time is right for a change.”
