Who would have thought that Lane Kiffin is still highly thought of, and by the best highest paid college football coach on the planet.

ESPN.com is reporting that Former USC coach Lane Kiffin is visiting Alabama this week to evaluate the Crimson Tide’s offense.

Kiffin is a guest of Alabama coach Nick Saban, the source said, and will be in Tuscaloosa “to share ideas and exchange ideas and [for] professional development,” the source said.

Kiffin was fired by USC athletic director Pat Haden on Sept. 29 at the team’s private airport terminal in Los Angeles after returning from a 62-41 loss to Arizona State. His overall record in four years with the Trojans was 28-15.

He went 7-6 in one season at Tennessee before leaving the SEC school for USC.

  1. nba is fixed says:

Why would Nick Saban do this. Everything Lane Kiffin touches turns to shit! USC, Oakland Raiders, Tennessee Volunteers and USC again. This trust fund kid is could give some horrible advice which could destroy the already damaged Crimson Tide season. I wouldn’t hire Lane Kiffen to coach Pop Warner football.
