shanahan-fired

After weeks of speculation, the Washington Redskins have officially fired Mike Shanahan. The Redskins finished this season a disappointing 3-13 after RGII excited the franchise last year and led them to the playoffs. Shanahan was 24-40 during his time in Washington, making the playoffs one time with a first round exit.

It’s interesting that Shanahan and the whole staff has been cut loose. There is no telling where the Redskins will turn now given coaches hesistation on working for Dan Snyder. I guess he was saving RGIII for the next coach.
