According to Bruce Feldman of CBS, there are reports that Oregon’s defensive coordinator Nick Aliotti will be retiring after the Alamo Bowl. Aliotti spent 21 seasons as a coach with Oregon.

The Ducks are known for their offense but their defense has been pretty good in recent years. They were number 1 in turnover margin last year and this year they are 25th in the nation in scoring defense.

He will coach the Alamo Bowl and then move on to be a family man.
