And Scott Boras does it again.
According to a report via Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com the Texas Rangers have found a suitable replacement for the departed Nelson Cruz in right field in Boras client Shin-Soo Choo.
Texas has a deal now with its primary target. The Rangers envision Choo has a tablesetter following a year in which he had a .423 on-base percentage with the Reds.
Choo was always the main target since they visited with him in Calfirnoa a few weeks ago, as Texas wanted to improve an offense that took a small step back last year. Choo and earlier addition Prince Fielder should provide the boost the Rangers need as it tries to overtake the A’s in what’s become one of the most competitive divisions.
Choo deal is for $130M with texas

All of a sudden the Rangers’ lineup is looking incredibly potent again with the additions of Fielder and now Choo.
