Before settling on Steve Sarkisian as their next Head Coach, reports say USC had to make a call to Jimmy Sexton, Nick Saban’s agent to gauge his interest in the job. According to the LA Times, USC AD Pat Haden made the call down south to see if they could get Saban to Southern Cal.

I honestly couldn’t think of a worse fit though between a coach and a school/city. I don’t blame USC for trying since they are one of the top programs in the country but Saban would have hated having to play to the boosters in USC and that lifestyle based on what we know about him.

Plus, we still don’t know if he has eyes for Texas or not.
