Serena Williams just added another title to her impressive resume. After finishing 78-4 with 11 titles, including the US Open and the French Open¬† Williams was named AP’s Female Athlete of the Year.¬†This is the third time the tennis star has won the award — she won in 2002 and in 2009.

Williams received 55 of the 96 votes, finishing well ahead of former Baylor star Brittney Griner, the WNBA’s No. 1 pick this past April, who had 14. The AP’s Male Athlete of the Year will be announced later on today. Congratulations to Serena Williams.
