Call me crazy but usually an honor such as being a clutch shooter is dubbed by someone other than the actual player. This isn’t the case for Golden State Warriors Steph Curry. In an interview with ESPN’s Sam Alipour, Curry made it clear that the only better clutch shooter in the history of the game other than himself is Michael Jordan.
“Jordan’s No. 1. I’m No. 2. Then you go Ray, then Reggie, then Kobe. Three-pointer or not, same answer.”
Those are some bold words coming from someone whose team has yet to even sniff a conference finals series, but I digress. Indeed Curry is a remarkable shooter, but to say he’s second to Jordan in the entire history of the NBA is a bit much.
