I’ve seen Aaric Murray develop from a troubled teen at the Glen Mills School in Concordville, PA to a high school all american, so I’m sure it was a gratifiy scene for a lot of peole to watch the often troubled Murray go off last night.
This was the Aaric Murray people were supposed to see before getting kicked out of both La Salle and West Virginia. The Philadelphia native who now plays for Texas Southern lit up the Temple Owls on Wednesday night for 48 points, a new Liacouras Center record, surpassing Lynn Greer.
The 48 points are the most scored by any Division I player in a single game this season and the most ever scored by a player against Temple.
