Wesley Matthews speaks on LaMarcus Aldridge.

You’ll be hard pressed to find a better power forward than LaMarcus Aldridge this season. He’s averaging 23.3 points and 11.1 rebounds a game. Aldridge has always been a great player, but his play is getting more recognition now since his team is winning.

Portland is currently (22-5), which is good enough for the second best record in the NBA. Teammate Wesley Matthews is having a good year himself and he feels LaMarcus Aldridge is the best player at his position.

“In my opinion, LaMarcus is the best power forward in the NBA. I think that we’re winning now, it’s evident.”

Kevin Love is the best power forward in my eyes, but it’s hard to argue against LaMarcus Aldridge because his team is winning at a high rate.
