This should come as no surprise.
Aaron Gordon is one of the most sought after freshmen at the next level. He’s averaging 12.3 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. Those numbers may not sound overly impressive, but Arizona is the number one team in the nation for a reason.
The Wildcats are so balanced, so Gordon is sacrificing numbers for winning. His numbers won’t stop him from entering the NBA draft, according to his mother.
“You never know how that’s going to play out until the end of the season,” Davis said. “If everything goes as planned, he most likely will enter the draft. We’re OK with that. You only have so many jumps in your legs. You have to pursue it when you can.”
Aaron Gordon is a for sure lottery pick and could go as high as top 8.
