One of the things about leg injuries are some can look relatively harmless when they happen like an ACL tear, but end up keeping you out longer than a horrific clean break.
That seems to be the case with Anderson Silva, while it looked career ending according to his manager says Silva got very lucky.
“He had his second X-ray [Thursday] and everything looks great. It was a clean break so the nerves are okay. He’s already started physical therapy and he’s moving his toes.”
Silva can resume training in 6-9 months if he wants to return.
