Baylor running back Lache Seastrunk will skip his Senior year to enter the NFL Draft. Seastrunk came into the season as a darkhorse Heisman contender. From the AP report:
Seatrunk said in a statement Monday that he’s fully prepared to take the next step toward realizing his goal of playing in the NFL.
Coach Art Briles says he appreciates “the dedication and energy” that Seastrunk brought to the team.
Seastrunk had 1,177 yards and 11 touchdowns in 11 games this season after missing 3 games due to injury. RBs have a short shelf life in the NFL so I am never surprised when they come out early. He will be an intriguing prospect.
