The Chicago Bears have quietly secured their quarterback of the future. He just happens to be the quarterback of the present.
The Chicago Tribune is reporting that the Bears have signed Jay Cutler to a new 7 year contract.

Update
Some numbers are starting to roll in on the Jay Cutler deal, and they are enormous. Alex Marvez of Fox Sports is reporting that Cutler could be guaranteed more than$54 million in the deal, and he’ll get $18 million a season over the first three.
