BSO was in attendance for the 8th annual Super Bowl Kickoff Party, hosted by none other than Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer.

The ‘Glazer Palooza’ proved to be the ultimate launch to what will be a hectic week in NYC, as players and celebrities flock to one event after another in celebration of the big game.

Perhaps the best part of this event in particular, is that is all goes for a good cause. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Wounded Warriors Foundation and Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund. Glazer grew up on the Jersey Shore, so this year’s event is particularly close to him.

The night was a star studded affair with current and former players traipsing down the red carpet of the trendy Manhattan lounge and club Pranna. BSO was front and center on the red carpet for the entire night.

One of the most memorable moments was former New York Jet Bart Scott’s arrival. The always very sociable Scott held nothing back when I asked his reaction on Richard Sherman’s legendary rant, and how he felt it compared to his infamous “Can’t Wait”,

“His was too short! Come on, do you really think it was better?”

Speaking of Richard Sherman, I also caught hold of his brother, Branton Sherman. When I asked if he’s as boisterous as his now infamous brother, he replied rather surprisingly:

“I’m a laid back kind of guy,”

Overall, the event was packed to the brim with celebrities gathering for a great cause and for a fun night out on the town. The New York/New Jersey Super Bowl is surely going to be filled with its fair share of night light and yesterday’s event was just the beginning.

Special thanks to BRANDed Management.
