I see what Colts GM Ryan Grigson is trying to do, but giving Trent Richardson a vote of confidence isn’t going to necessarily make him have confidence again.
According to Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star, Grigson said that there’s no way the Colts win 12 games without Richardson.
Grigson: We don't win 12 games if Trent Richardson isn't here. Trent fits all the things we're trying to do here.

It doesn’t say much about what Donald Brown did, but I’m not sure the Colts care about the free agent to be. They gave up a first round pick for Richardson, and need him to get his swagger back.
