This years NFL Pro Bowl just added another impressive athlete to the rosters.
According to Pro Football Talk, talented rookie wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson has been selected to the Pro Bowl as a return specialist, the Vikings announced Friday morning.
Patterson will reportedly replace the Steelers’ Antonio Brown, who will be listed just at wide receiver on the Pro Bowl roster. Brown received the majority of his votes at wideout.
Patterson returned 43 kickoffs for 1,393 yards and two touchdowns, posting a league-leading 32.4-yard average. He was the only player to return multiple kickoffs for touchdowns in 2013.
The Pro Bowl has banned kickoff returns, so Patterson will likely return punts and see work on offense.
