according to a KFOX14 report out of El Paso, the FBI is reportedly investigating to members of the UTEP basketball program. The university would not confirm the story to the station.
According to reports, the two players are believed to be McKenzie Moore and Jalen Ragland. Both were suspended indefinitely in late December, and at the time head coach Tim Floyd said it was for violation of team rules.
“I’m not able to talk about it right now but it will all come out eventually,” Floyd said at the time.
Moore had been UTEP’s leading scorer, averaging 13.1 points, while Ragland was averaging 3.7 points. The Miners are 2-0 since the suspensions, 10-5 overall.
