Jadeveon Clowney Requests Jury Trial For Speeding Ticket

Jadeveon Clowney has had some issues with speeding recently. For one of his speeding tickets, he has requested a jury trial according to WLTX in South Carolina:

Paperwork was filed Wednesday in a Fairfield County magistrate’s office.

State troopers say on December 7th, they clocked Clowney going 110 miles an hour on Interstate 77. The posted speed limit in that area is 70 miles an hour.

I don’t understand why Clowney wouldn’t just pay the fine and make this go away. I guess he is entitled to his day in court if he wants it.
