Teddy Bridgewater declared for the NFL Draft earlier today and now reports are that he is strongly leaning towards signing with Jay Z’s Roc Nation Agency:
Two sources said Wednesday that Bridgewater has been talking to Roc Nation, which is owned by Jay-Z, about serving as his agency. He is the third prominent college football underclassman to be linked to the relatively new firm that Jay Z started in late 2012.
If Jay can sign the top QB prospect in the draft it’s a pretty big deal. It would show that not only can he pull current pro athletes but also get top prospects. When a client of his gets a 10 year $240 million contract, people pay attention. At the end of the day if his clients are getting big deal, why wouldn’t they flock to him?
The Jay Z agent takeover possibly continues.
