Could Eric Decker be getting a first hand look at his new digs?
The Broncos talented wide receiver will be a free agent at seasons end, and there’s been some speculation in regards to how bad the Broncos want to retain his services.
One team that could definitely utilize his skills as a No. 1 or 2 wideout is the New York Jets. According to the New York Post, the Jets could choose to target Decker in free agency.
“I haven’t thought about that,” Decker said with a smile at Super Bowl Media Day on Tuesday.
The Jets have kind of a jump-start on recruiting Decker if they are going to target him. The Broncos are using the Jets’ training center this week to practice. The Broncos do not have the run of the entire building, but they will see the indoor practice facility, the locker room, the weight room and the trainer’s room.
The Jets’ building was built in 2008 and is one of the most impressive in the NFL.
“The Jets facility is really nice,” Decker said. “I checked out the locker room, the weight room and the trainer’s room. Very nice facilities.”
Decker had 87 catches for 1,288 yards and 11 touchdowns this season. He says he’s not worrying about free agency at this time.
