Jim Harbaugh: “Michael Crabtree Has The Best Hands Of All Time”
I understand Jim Harbaugh likes to talk his San Francisco 49ers players up, and if I was one of his players, I’d try to run through a wall for him to.
Many thought when Michael Crabtree tore his Achilles in the off-season, that his and the 49ers season was over. That was far from the truth.
San Francisco played well during the regular season while Crabtree got well. Rather tban sit Crabtree for the year, the 49ers allowed Crabtree to get better and it’s paying dividends during the playoffs.
Crabtree had eight catches for 125 yards in the San Francisco’s 23-20 wild card win over the Packers in Green Bay. After the ballgame, the always gracious Harbaugh told the media that “Crabtree has the best hands of all time.”
“People talk about cold weather, and it being tough to catch balls,” Harbaugh said. “But the greatest catcher of all time, Michael Crabtree, catches everything. It’s unbelievable. In the northern snow lands, down to the tropic sunny scenes, he’s catching the football. Where ever they throw a football, he’ll be catching it.”
That’s a statement Harbaugh has made before, and although Harbaugh knows it’s awfully bold, he stands by it.
“If my life depended on it, somebody had to catch a ball, I’d enlist Michael Crabtree to do it,” Harbaugh said.
